Council Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/849of 12 March 2024implementing Regulation (EU) No 269/2014 concerning restrictive measures in respect of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of UkraineTHE COUNCIL OF THE EUROPEAN UNION,Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,Having regard to Council Regulation (EU) No 269/2014 of 17 March 2014 concerning restrictive measures in respect of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of UkraineOJ L 78, 17.3.2014, p. 6., and in particular Article 14(1) and (3) thereof,Having regard to the proposal from the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy,Whereas:(1)On 17 March 2014, the Council adopted Regulation (EU) No 269/2014.(2)On the basis of a review by the Council concerning the individual designations set out in Annex I to Regulation (EU) No 269/2014, the information concerning 97 individuals and nine entities should be amended. Additionally, the entries for nine deceased persons, as well as those for three other persons should be deleted from that Annex.(3)Regulation (EU) No 269/2014 should therefore be amended accordingly,HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:
