Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2017/80of 16 January 2017amending Council Regulation (EC) No 329/2007 concerning restrictive measures against the Democratic People's Republic of KoreaTHE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,Having regard to Council Regulation (EC) No 329/2007 of 27 March 2007 concerning restrictive measures against the Democratic People's Republic of KoreaOJ L 88, 29.3.2007, p. 1., and in particular Article 13(1)(d) thereof,Whereas:(1)Annex IV to Regulation (EC) No 329/2007 lists persons, entities and bodies who, having been designated by the Sanctions Committee or the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) and are covered by the freezing of funds and economic resources under that Regulation.(2)On 17 December 2016, the Security Council Committee established pursuant to resolution 1718 (2006) decided that five vessels specified in Annex III to resolution 2270 (2016) pursuant to paragraph 23 of the same resolution, are not economic resources controlled or operated by Ocean Maritime Management and therefore not subject to the asset freeze imposed in paragraph 8(d) of resolution 1718 (2006).(3)Annex IV to Regulation (EC) No 329/2007 should therefore be amended accordingly,HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:
