Commission Regulation (EC) No 126/2006of 25 January 2006determining the extent to which applications lodged in December 2005 for import licences for certain pigmeat products under the regime provided for by the Agreements concluded by the Community with the Republic of Bulgaria and Romania can be acceptedTHE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Community,Having regard to Commission Regulation (EC) No 2040/2005 of 14 December 2005 laying down detailed rules for the application in the pigmeat sector of the arrangements provided for by the Agreements concluded by the Community with the Republic of Bulgaria and RomaniaOJ L 328, 15.12.2005, p. 34., and in particular Article 4(1) thereof,Whereas:(1)The applications for import licences lodged for the first quarter of 2006 are for quantities less than or equal to the quantities available and can therefore be met in full.(2)The surplus to be added to the quantity available for the following period should be determined.(3)It is appropriate to draw the attention of operators to the fact that licences may only be used for products which comply with all veterinary rules currently in force in the Community,HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:
