Council Regulation (EC) No 930/2004of 1 May 2004on temporary derogation measures relating to the drafting in Maltese of the acts of the institutions of the European UnionArticle 1By way of derogation from Regulation No 1 and for a period of three years beginning on 1 May 2004, the institutions of the European Union shall not be bound by the obligation to draft all acts in Maltese and to publish them in that language in the Official Journal of the European Union.This Article shall not apply to Regulations adopted jointly by the European Parliament and the Council.Article 2Not later than 30 months after its adoption, the Council shall review the operation of this Regulation and determine whether to extend it for a further period of one year.Article 3All acts which have not been published in Maltese by 30 April 2007 will also be published in that language by 31 December 2008 at the latest.Article 4This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 May 2004.This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
