COMMISSION REGULATION (EEC) No 1673/92 of 29 June 1992 amending Regulation (EEC) No 3864/91 fixing, for the 1992 fishing year, the withdrawal and selling prices for the fishery products listed in Annex I (A), (D) and (E) of Council Regulation (EEC) No 3687/91

THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES,

Having regard to the Treaty establishing the European Economic Community,

Having regard to Council Regulation (EEC) No 3687/91 of 28 November 1991 on the common organization of the market in fishery products (1), and in particular Article 12 (3) thereof,

Whereas Commission Regulation (EEC) No 3864/91 (2) fixes for the 1992 fishing year the conversion factors used for calculating the withdrawal prices applicable in the landing areas which are very distant from the main centres of consumption in the Community;

Whereas, under the Poseican programme and as a result of the change in status of the Canary Islands, a special conversion factor applicable to Atlantic sardines of the species Sardina pilchardus landed in this outermost region should be adopted; whereas it is necessary to amend Regulation (EEC) No 3864/91 accordingly;

Whereas the measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Management Committee for Fishery Products,

HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Article 1

Annex IV to Regulation (EEC) No 3864/91 is replaced by the Annex to this Regulation.

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the day of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Communities.

It shall apply from 1 July 1992. This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
