THE COMMISSION OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES ,
HAVING REGARD TO THE TREATY ESTABLISHING THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC COMMUNITY ;
HAVING REGARD TO COUNCIL REGULATION ( EEC ) NO 2142/70 ( 1 ) OF 20 OCTOBER 1970 ON THE COMMON ORGANIZATION OF THE MARKET IN FISHERY PRODUCTS , AS LAST AMENDED BY REGULATION ( EEC ) NO 1182/75 ( 2 ) , AND IN PARTICULAR ARTICLE 18 ( 6 ) THEREOF ;
WHEREAS DETAILED RULES FOR DETERMINING THE ENTRY PRICE FOR CERTAIN FISHERY PRODUCTS HAVE BEEN LAID DOWN BY COMMISSION REGULATION ( EEC ) NO 1109/71 ( 3 ) OF 28 MAY 1971 , AS LAST AMENDED BY REGULATION ( EEC ) NO 1052/75 ( 4 ) ;
WHEREAS , TO ESTABLISH AN ENTRY PRICE FOR ALL FISHERY PRODUCTS FOR WHICH A REFERENCE PRICE HAS BEEN FIXED , IT IS NECESSARY TO SUPPLEMENT REGULATION ( EEC ) NO 1109/71 BY INCLUDING IN IT CONVERSION FACTORS FOR PRODUCTS LISTED IN ANNEX IV B OF REGULATION ( EEC ) NO 2142/70 ;
WHEREAS FROZEN PRODUCTS ARE MARKETED IN DIFFERENT FORMS OF PRESENTATION ; WHEREAS IT IS NECESSARY TO SPECIFY FOR CERTAIN OF THESE PRODUCTS DIFFERENT CONVERSION FACTORS , REFLECTING THEIR DIFFERENCE IN VALUE IN RELATION TO THE LEVEL OF REFERENCE PRICES ;
WHEREAS THE MEASURES PROVIDED FOR IN THIS REGULATION ARE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE OPINION OF THE MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE FOR FISHERY PRODUCTS ,
HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION :
ARTICLE 1
A NEW ARTICLE AS FOLLOWS IS ADDED TO REGULATION ( EEC ) NO 1109/71 :
" ARTICLE 4A
THE ENTRY PRICE FOR FROZEN FILLETS OF THE PRODUCTS LISTED IN ANNEX IV ( B ) TO REGULATION ( EEC ) NO 2142/70 SHALL BE DETERMINED BY APPLYING THE CONVERSION FACTORS SET OUT IN ANNEX IA TO THE QUOTATIONS AND PRICES WHICH ARE KNOWN TO THE COMMISSION . SUCH QUOTATIONS AND PRICES SHALL , BEFORE APPLICATION OF THE CONVERSION FACTORS , BE CONVERTED TO FREE-AT-FRONTIER PRICES " .

THIS REGULATION SHALL ENTER INTO FORCE ON THE THIRD DAY FOLLOWING ITS PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL JOURNAL OF THE EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES .
THIS REGULATION SHALL BE BINDING IN ITS ENTIRETY AND DIRECTLY APPLICABLE IN ALL MEMBER STATES .
