Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/1070of 12 April 2024concerning the renewal of the authorisation of a preparation of 25-hydroxycholecalciferol produced by Saccharomyces cerevisiae CBS 146008 for chickens for fattening, turkeys for fattening, other poultry and pigs and the authorisation of that preparation for ruminants and repealing Commission Regulation (EC) No 887/2009(Text with EEA relevance)
Article 1Renewal of the authorisationThe authorisation of the preparation specified in the Annex, belonging to the additive category "nutritional additives" and to the functional group "vitamins, pro-vitamins and chemically well-defined substances having similar effect", is renewed for chickens for fattening, turkeys for fattening, other poultry and pigs, subject to the conditions laid down in that Annex.
Article 2AuthorisationThe preparation specified in the Annex, belonging to the additive category "nutritional additives" and to the functional group "vitamins, pro-vitamins and chemically well-defined substances having similar effect," is authorised as an additive in animal nutrition for ruminants, subject to the conditions laid down in that Annex.
Article 3RepealRegulation (EC) No 887/2009 is repealed.
Article 3aTransitional measures1.The feed additive 25-hydroxycholecalciferol, as authorised by Regulation (EC) No 887/2009, and premixtures containing that additive, which are produced and labelled before 5 November 2024 in accordance with the rules applicable before 5 May 2024, may continue to be placed on the market and used until the stocks concerned are exhausted if they are intended for chickens for fattening, turkeys for fattening, other poultry and pigs.2.Compound feed and feed materials containing the feed additive referred to in paragraph 1, which are produced and labelled before 5 May 2025 in accordance with the rules applicable before 5 May 2024, may continue to be placed on the market and used until the stocks concerned are exhausted if they are intended for chickens for fattening, turkeys for fattening, other poultry and pigs.
Article 4Entry into forceThis Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.ANNEX
