Commission Regulation (EU) 2022/1403of 16 August 2022correcting certain language versions of Annex IV to Regulation (EC) No 999/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council laying down rules for the prevention, control and eradication of certain transmissible spongiform encephalopathies(Text with EEA relevance) THE EUROPEAN COMMISSION,Having regard to the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union,Having regard to Regulation (EC) No 999/2001 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 May 2001 laying down rules for the prevention, control and eradication of certain transmissible spongiform encephalopathiesOJ L 147, 31.5.2001, p. 1., and in particular the first paragraph of Article 23 thereof,Whereas:(1)The Bulgarian, Czech, German and Irish language versions of Regulation (EC) No 999/2001 contain errors. In Chapter V, Section G of Annex IV, point 1 in the Czech and German language versions, as well as point 2 in the Bulgarian and Irish language versions contain an error which alters the meaning of these provisions.(2)The Bulgarian, Czech, German and Irish language versions should therefore be corrected accordingly. The other language versions are not affected.(3)The measures provided for in this Regulation are in accordance with the opinion of the Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed,HAS ADOPTED THIS REGULATION:

Article 2This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
