"354 | FlurochloridoneCAS No 61213-25-0CIPAC No 430 | (3RS,4RS;3RS,4SR)-3-chloro-4-chloromethyl-1-(α,α,α-trifluoro-m-tolyl)-2-pyrrolidone | ≥ 940 g/kg.Relevant impurities:Toluene: max 8 g/kg | 1 June 2011 | 31 May 2021 | PART AOnly uses as herbicide may be authorised.PART BFor the implementation of the uniform principles, as referred to in Article 29(6) of Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009, the conclusions of the review report on flurochloridone, and in particular Appendices I and II thereof, as finalised in the Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health on 4 February 2011 shall be taken into account.In this overall assessment Member States shall pay particular attention to:- 1.the risk for non-target plants and aquatic organisms;
- 2.the protection of the groundwater, when the active substance is applied in regions with vulnerable soil and/or climatic conditions.
Conditions of authorisation shall include risk mitigation measures, where appropriate.The Member States concerned shall ensure that the applicant submits to the Commission further confirmatory information as regards:- 1.the relevance of impurities other than toluene;
- 2.the compliance of ecotoxicological test material with the technical specifications;
- 3.the relevance of the groundwater metabolite R42819;
- 4.the potential endocrine disrupting properties of flurochloridone.
The Member States concerned shall ensure that the applicant submits to the Commission the information set out in points (1) and (2) by 1 December 2011, the information set out in point (3) by 31 May 2013 and the information set out in point (4) within two years after the adoption of the OECD test guidelines on endocrine disruption. |
